The TVOA was established to help protect consumer rights and provide resources for navigating the vacation ownership industry in Thailand.

Over the past couple decades, TVOA and its members have worked closely with Thailand’s legislature to establish laws and regulatory guidelines to provide a consumer safety net when purchasing a vacation ownership within the Kingdom.

Today, thanks to legislation added to the Consumer Protection Act (No.2), B.E. 2541 (1998), consumers have a number of specific protections and rights when purchasing a vacation ownership product.

This is true of all vacation ownership products and programs in Thailand, however, TVOA Members also pledge to follow the TVOA Code of Ethics.
